Statistically significant differences were observed with regard to, the size, site prevalence, age distribution, and clinical findings.
On evaluating the result from the standpoint of histologic differentiation, specificity of borderline malignancy was clarified by analyzing the depth of stratification of the atypical lining epithelial cells, presence of solid epithelial growth or secondary gland formation, and presence of stromal invasiveness.
